SYNOPSIS:

The documentary series Camping, the Snail Syndrome – named after the small creature that travels with its house on its back - sets out to discover Quebec campers and their passion for camping. Among people met are wilderness and outdoor buffs, seasonal campers who, each summer, choose to settle in small, temporary communities and, finally, those full-timers who prefer to get away all year long.

Be it desire for freedom, a need for adventure or simply meeting like-minded people, camping is much more than a simple outdoor activity. It is truly a way of life.
